Intematix Phosphor Technology, Solutions & Capabilities

Intematix is the largest company worldwide dedicated to phosphor and luminescent material solutions for solid-state lighting. Intematix has currently installed capacity capable of manufacturing 121 metric tons of phosphor material annually when combining the capability of Intematix’s USA and China based facilities and the seven major product families produced. With a broad product line across all major platforms, Intematix products enable efficient, reliable and high light quality LEDs for applications like general lighting, displays and automotive.

Phosphor Testing

Intematix is the largest company worldwide dedicated to phosphor and luminescent material solutions for solid-state lighting. With a broad product line across all major platforms, Intematix products enable efficient, reliable and high light quality LEDs for applications like general lighting, displays and automotive. In addition to our deep knowledge of phosphor chemistry and processing, Intematix goes beyond typical materials suppliers by bringing packaged LED reliability test and characterization expertise to our customers. Test capabilities include white LED brightness, color quality (CRI, R-values), phosphor loading and phosphor blend ratio. These characteristics are critical to phosphor improvement efforts as well as for competitive benchmarking and failure analysis. Intematix also has test fixtures for measuring customer supplied LEDs. Typical reliability stress conditions include 85C/85%RH (WHTOL) and 85C (HTOL) for at least 1000h for LED packaged with a single phosphor or white LEDs containing two- or three-phosphor combinations.
