Management Team

Mark brings over 27 years of experience in the LED, solid state and semiconductor industries. Prior to joining Intematix, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Bridgelux, Inc, where his vision transitioned the company from an R&D and chip design business into a vertically integrated solid state lighting product company. Prior to Bridgelux, Mark served as Executive Vice President of Philips Lumileds, where he led sales, marketing, applications and custom product development teams that pioneered the power LED product class and developed high-growth markets in applications including automotive forward lighting, mobile phone camera flash, LED backlighting and general lighting. Additionally, Swoboda spent 17 years with the Hewlett-Packard Semiconductor Products Group in various sales, marketing, and channel management positions. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University.

Dr. Li is the co-founder of Intematix Corporation, and currently serves as Executive Vice President and CTO. Dr. Li continues to play an instrumental role in growing Intematix and has led in developing the technology, building teams, establishing subsidiary companies, strategically marketing products, and positioning Intematix as a leader in the solid state lighting industry through the expansion of components and lighting products.

Before founding Intematix, Dr. Li spent 20 years pioneering material innovations and developing products, achieving several important material science breakthroughs including passive piezoelectric-magnetic sensors, non friction of Diamond-Like Carbon coatings on HDD head against disk, and high temperature superconductor thin films by MOCVD. To date he has published more than 50 scientific papers, holds 28 issued US patents and 50 pending US patents.

Dr. Li has held positions as Research Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, Research Engineer at semiconductor companies of EMCORE and ATMI, and Executive at start-up companies of NZ Applied Technologies and Spinix Corporation. 

Dr. Li received a PhD degree and a MSE in materials science and engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in US, BS in materials science and engineering from Northeastern University in China.

Adam is a high tech industry veteran, with more than 20 years of experience in areas ranging from program management to new product introductions, process development, manufacturing launches, offshore product transfers, sales operations, materials management, procurement, and facilities management. He has held previous positions at Seagate, Siemens, Infineon, Memorex, and Stewart Warner. One of Adam’s most notable career achievements was establishing operational processes to enable one of the fastest ramps up in hard drive disk manufacturing history.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Science in IT from San Jose State University, with an emphasis in Computer Electronics and Business Management. 

Mike is a seasoned financial executive with 18 years experience in corporate finance and operations management. He is an experienced fundraiser and has focused in buy-side/sell-side M&A activity. He also has extensive corporate development experience in Asia. Prior to joining Intematix, Mike worked with Cypress Semiconductor, Astec PLC, Microbar Inc. and NuCORE Technology.

Mike has earned a Bachelors of Science in Finance from University of Arizona, an MA in Economics and a CMA.

Jeff joined Intematix after serving as the Director of Sales, LED Lighting for Cree, Inc. In this position he was responsible for building the inside and outside LED component sales teams, as well as developing the local and global distribution networks. Prior to Cree, he was a Product Reliability Manager at NCR Microelectronic Products in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Jeff has spent 20 years in semiconductor sales and engineering, and has 13 years experience selling LEDs.
