Title: Mitsubishi Patent Infringement Lawsuit in Korea is Without Merit

FREMONT, Calif. – December 22, 2011 – Intematix Corporation, a leading innovator of proprietary phosphor materials and components for high-quality LED lighting, has announced that the patent infringement claims filed by Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation against Intematix in Seoul, Korea are entirely without merit.  Intematix is confident that its red nitride products do not infringe any valid claims under Mitsubishi’s red phosphor Korean patent.  Intematix intends to vigorously defend itself against any such claims.

In addition, Intematix believes that the Mitsubishi patent is invalid and intends to commence an invalidation proceeding against Mitsubishi.
