Title: Intematix Wins San Francisco Business Times Cleantech & Sustainability Award in Lighting Category

FREMONT, Calif.--Intematix, a leading innovator of patented phosphor materials and components for high-quality LED lighting, has been honored as the recipient of the San Francisco Business Times Cleantech & Sustainability Award in the Lighting category. The prestigious award recognizes Intematix for its contribution to the LED industry through advanced phosphor materials that improve the efficiency and quality of light.

“This award is a testament to the importance of the phosphor in achieving high-quality LED light,” said Intematix CEO Mark Swoboda. “I am honored to be part of the Intematix team, where our commitment to developing and strengthening intellectual property in the phosphor and remote phosphor space has led to breakthroughs that advance the LED lighting industry.”

Earlier this year, Intematix launched the ChromaLit Collection — a family of patented remote phosphor shapes and sizes that separate the phosphor from the chip to improve efficacy, color quality and opens doors for LED lighting design. The product collection, available in 2-D and 3-D shapes, is being utilized as an improved architecture for designing efficient and attractive solid-state lighting systems that outperform incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs.

Held annually, the San Francisco Business Times Cleantech & Sustainability Award honors the leaders and entrepreneurs in green business, cleantech, energy conservation, alternative energy, and the best and brightest innovators and champions of green and sustainable business practices.
